Typical Assignments

Below are broad characteristics of a standard project, however, there is no 'typical' assignment at Claris, since no two assignments are identical.

Nature of Assignment
During the case, you will find yourself switching among six key activities, how much of each will be determined by your tenure and requirements of the project. These include:
  • Define the problem at hand
  • Structure a framework to tackle
  • Prioritize areas that really matter
  • Analyze information & data at hand
  • Synthesize what the data really mean
  • Communicate recommendations

Length of project
Project length also varies depending on the scope. Strategy cases tend to be shorter than operations-focused cases. Below is relative engagement period of different type of cases.

Team composition
You will get to work closely with partners since they manage the cases themselves, an experience not common in international consultancies.
