Our Mantra

“One thing I can tell you about Claris is that you will definitely be lost… lost in your work, drowning in million questions you have to figure, struggling in next steps you have to take, and doubting what is it that you can really achieve. And what I can also ensure is that at Claris you will always eventually be found right where you think you are losing it. Our Partners, P’Chat and P’Pramoad are more than just bosses, they will lend in their thoughts and hearts right when you are about to be drowned. They will guide you into the light, a direction but not an answer. And that is because they really care. They will support you not because they want the job done but because they want to support who you will become after Claris; they give direction not the answer so you learn through processes not becoming their pens and papers. You will definitely suffer along the way but have gained too far that you will never ask for the time back. And this kind of support, I can ensure you will never find it elsewhere. As for the team, we have grown to be like our Partners, a caring warrior. We stay thirst for what is ahead, stay strong regardless of weaknesses, and at last stay together. Because at Claris, supports are what made who we are."

"At Claris, the learning opportunities are endless. I have learned from the work, both the content and the approach, from my bosses who genuinely care about my development personally and professionally, and from my colleagues whose analytical and communicational skills I admire. I have come to believe what I have heard people say about Claris that it is as much a school as it is a work place. And I would like to add that not only it is a school, it is a really great one."

"To me, there are three unique challenges for consultants at Claris:
At Claris, no matter if you are an undergraduate or newly-minted MBA entering the firm, you’ll be assigned a portion of a consulting project to work on yourself. That means you will have the opportunity to do everything related to your work module, from structuring analysis, going out in the market to gather information, to presenting recommendations to the client’s CEO. Though the responsibilities are a lot, this kind opportunity at this early level in your career will accelerate your learning tremendously.
Second, you will learn that none of the days at Claris is the same, as you will be exposed to a wide variety of problems from a multitude of organizations and industries. One day you could be tackling a financial analysis for Thailand’s major logistics company, when the next developing sales and distribution framework for core markets of Asia’s leading paper manufacturer. This different challenges provide intellectual stimulation and allow you to develop skills and way of thinking that can be applied across businesses and industries.
The third challenge revolves around delivering practical, actionable recommendations, as we always go deeper into details rather than just touching on high-level strategy. Claris consultants need to have both analytical rigor and pragmatism to achieve this results and ensure clients implement what we recommend. The fact that we have so many repeated assignments from our clients says it all about how much value we delivered.
All in all, these challenges will enable you to learn from the experience, grow as a person, and live up to your full potential. I feel that my comfort zone continues to expand every day I am here.”Sun, Consultant - a perspective on 'Challenge'

“During my 4 years at Claris, I had boundless opportunities to learn, and I greatly enjoyed my experience there. The dynamic nature of work and exposure to various types of cases and industries helped me develop many skill sets. Firstly, the guidance of our partners and managers strengthened my technical and analytical skills, allowing me to grasp big pictures, structure clear frameworks, and conduct analyses that were meaningful to our clients. Additionally, I was able to develop my presentation skills as consultants had to present ourselves our own works to the clients’ senior management teams. Lastly, the Claris experience really helped me build up my interpersonal skills. My interactions with the clients had to be professional yet personal so trusts and credibility could be established among the clients’ teams.
The one thing I will never forget about Claris is although we worked very hard, we never forgot to have fun. The social committee always arranged activities to help us relieve stress from work. One of my most memorable times is probably when we witnessed our partner showing off his dancing skills during a dance class in one of our HODs. We discovered that the core requirements for being a Claris partner do not include good dancing skills.”Max, Alumni - a perspective on 'learn'
